Experience Life in the Inner City:
'Attend Our 1 Week Bootcamp'

New Page 2 Question and Answer

Q: What is Brooklyn Boot Camp?
A: 6 days (Tuesday-Sunday) of action packed ministry, challenges and training.

Q: For who is Brooklyn Boot Camp?
A: We organize Boot Camp for all mature Christians. We love to have youth groups (16 years and older), bible school students, special groups (Sunday School teachers) or individuals. Be informed that we need 1 adult leader for every four to five teens under 18! As leaders, you have all the time to bond with your youth, for we do all the sweating over the details!

Q: What will I do?
A: You will be involved in many parts of our Ministry. We’ll have you busy from early in the morning till late at night. From ministry classes to real ministry, from team building to one on one visitation and from the darkest streets of the inner city to the brightest lights on Time Square, you’ll see and do it all.

Q: What will I learn?
A: You’ll learn what it takes to be effective in the inner city. You’ll also learn to face your fears at what ever level, and see that YOU CAN do it. There is a fine balance between workshops and real-life experience. You won’t just see what Metro does in New York, but you will be able to take the vision back to your own town or city.

Q: What will I get?
A: Once you arrive at the airport or our ministry, we take care of everything else. Your stay with us includes housing, 3 meals a day, transportation to all BC activities and all teaching materials. You’ll leave NYC with more than just nice pictures. You’ll leave here with a different mind-set, a different view of inner city ministry.

Q: What does it cost?
A: In 2005 a week of Brooklyn Boot Camp costs $350 p.p., or $295 when with a group of 10 or more. Once again, this includes all meals, housing, all transportation and teaching material. (You’ll need to bring bedding, towels etc.)
In 2006 the price will be $ 395 for induviduals, or $ 350 for groups of 10 or more.

Q: When does Boot Camp take place?
A: We run Boot Camp all weeks of our Spring (March/June) and Fall (September/December) semester. Call our office at 718-453-5006 for availability and more booking details.

Q: How do I reserve a spot in Boot Camp?
A: Anybody who considers to come for Brooklyn Boot Camp needs to contact our office at 718-453-5006. Once we found a suitable date for you and your group, you pay $100 per bootcamper as a non-refundable deposit. This will guarantee your spot. We work on a first come, first served basis.

Q: How do I pay?
A: a $100 per person non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation. The remaining amount must be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival. All payments can be done either by US International check or credit card. Please note that all checks must be made payable to Metro Ministries, and must be in US funds ONLY.
