How Won-By-One Sponsorship Works
Metro Ministries operates in some of the world's most impoverished areas. Innocent children growing up in these areas often face hunger, poverty, exploitation and lack on many levels. Sponsorship connects a sponsor with a child living in these unfavorable conditions and supports Metro Ministries' programs for children in these areas. Through our Won-By-One program, sponsors are able to build relationship and make a difference in the life of a child through contributions, letters of encouragement, gifts, etc. Sponsors receive a photograph of their sponsored child and annual progress updates.
What Your Monthly Giving Provides
Your monthly contribution helps to support Metro Ministries programs for children in impoverished areas, with programs providing Sunday School services and personal home visits to each child on a weekly basis. In addition, your support helps provide children with Christmas toys, school supplies, as well as food, where resources permit. As a sponsor, you will also be able to give directly to your sponsored child through gifts, letters or by assisting your child with any special needs.
