We invite you to experience firsthand Metro Ministries in action. Attend the world's largest Sunday School, visit a Sidewalk Sunday School site, work alongside our dedicated staff or help with a special project. We would love to have you join us.

Friday Staff Meeting — Join Pastor Bill Wilson on Friday mornings as he addresses the staff and leads them in worship. Please call ahead to confirm time and schedule.
Sunday School — Come on Saturday to Sunday School and attend one of three sessions held for more than 5,000 children weekly.
1st Session: Saturday morning - arrive by 9:30 am
2nd Session: Saturday afternoon - arrive by 12:30 pm
3rd Session: Saturday afternoon - arrive by 3:45 pm
Ride the Bus — Come along as we pick up the children for Sunday School. Call ahead to make arrangements. Our staff and volunteers, as well as the kids, would love to have you ride along!
Visit Sidewalk Sunday School — If you'd like to visit one of our 200 Sidewalk Sunday School sites during the week, give us a call and we'll make the arrangements.

Subway Information & Directions:
From Manhattan by the "J" Train
Take "N,R,Q,W" (yellow line) to Canal Street Station or "F" (orange line) to Delancy/Essex (direction Lower Manhattan).
Take "J" (brown) towards Metropolitain/Jamica/Williamsburg/Brooklyn (over Williamsburg Bridge).
Get off at Gates Ave Station (to the right).
Go downstairs to street, cross main street (Broadway) to corner which is GROVE Street.
Turn right down Grove Street 3 blocks, church on corner of GROVE and EVERGREEN.
Allow one hour for train ride from Midtown.
Coming to office, walk down Grove Street two blocks to light, (Bushwick) cross street. Go one block to the left and turn down Menahan Street.
Office is on left hand side of street, 17 Menahan Street
From Manhattan by the "A" Train
Take "A" train downtown towards Brooklyn; 30-40 minutes.
Get off at Broadway Junction/Eastern Parkway.
Go upstairs to get on the "J" train towards Manhattan, go a few stops.
Get off at Gates, turn to the left, go downstairs to street.
Walk straight to Grove Street and follow the above directions.
From Manhattan by Cab
Get to, and go through, Midtown Tunnel to Brooklyn (will need to pay toll). Once through tunnel you're going to BQE (278) going west towards VERREZANO BRIDGE.
Once on Kosciusko Bridge, take first exit off bridge which is MEEKER AND MORGAN AVENUE. Get into far right lane on bridge. Go to the second traffic light and make a left turn onto MORGAN AVENUE. Stay on Morgan for a couple of miles, after large rail tracks. Road splits and goes straight or to the upper left. Stay straight. The street changes to WILSON AVENUE.
Stay on Wilson until BLEEKER STREET. Turn right and drive up three blocks to BUSHWICK AVENUE Turn left on Bushwick and stay on Bushwick.
Coming to office: Turn left onto Menahan Street. Office is on left hand side, 17 Menahan Street.
Coming to church: Pass Menahan to second street, Linden. Turn left, go one block to Evergreen Avenue, turn left onto Evergreen. Church is on right side of street, 403 Evergreen Avenue.
Total ride is 20 to 45 minutes depending on time of day and traffic and will cost $25—$30 toll.
From Holland Tunnel
Come out of tunnel, follow loop all the way around to Canal Street (Half way through loop get into right lane).
Turn right onto Canal Street. Stay on Canal Street in the middle lane to the Manhattan Bridge. Close to the bridge get into the right lane. Once off Manhattan Bridge, get in the left lane to MYRTLE Street.
Turn left onto MYRTLE. Stay on Myrtle until Bushwick Avenue.
Turn right onto Bushwick. Follow above directions to church or office.
Verrezano Bridge
Two ways to ministry depending on traffic:
1st choice:
Exit bridge onto Belt parkway towards JFK airport.
Stay on Belt parkway about 15-25 mins (depending on traffic) until Pennsylvania Avenue, exit to right.
At light turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue, stay on Pennsylvania Avenue about 15-20 minutes.
Once you cross Atlantic Avenue get into left lane, go to second light.
Intersection has hard left, upper left, hard right, upper right.
You want UPPER left onto Bushwick Avenue Stay on Bushwick.
Follow above directions to office or church, except you will turn right, onto Menahan Street or Linden Avenue.
2nd choice:
Exit bridge onto BQE 278 east towards Manhattan. Follow 278 until exit 30, Flushing Avenue.
At light turn right onto Flushing Avenue until Bushwick Avenue, then right onto Bushwick.
Follow above directions to office or church.
From Long Island by Car
Take the Long Island Expressway West to Exit #31S — Cross Island Parkway — South.
Take Exit 29W onto the Grand Central Parkway — West.
Exit left onto the Jackie Robinson Parkway.
Take Exit #1 Bushwick Avenue.
Continue for about 23 blocks.
Turn Right onto Linden Street.
Turn Left at Evergreen Avenue.
The church is on EVERGREEN Avenue, between Linden and Grove.
From Connecticut by Car
Take 95 South toward New York City and the Throgs Neck Bridge.
Cross the Throgs Neck Bridge.
At the end of the bridge, take the Cross Island Parkway — South.
Take Exit 29W onto the Grand Central Parkway — West.
Exit left onto the Jackie Robinson Parkway.
Take Exit #1 Bushwick Avenue.
Continue for about 23 blocks.
Turn Right onto Linden Street.
Turn Left at Evergreen Avenue.
The church is on EVERGREEN Avenue, between Linden and Grove.
