Become a Camp Counselor
Every year in August, Metro Ministries sponsors a summer day camp for 800-1,000 inner city children. The camp provides an opportunity for children to go on adventures and make friends in a safe and natural environment, while strengthening their relationship with God. Each year, we are in need of volunteer counselors. The Metro World Ministries Center?s focus is to serve the community as well as serve as an international training center. But before we can move in, renovations must be made. We have made progress, but there is still much to be done! Volunteer work crews are a vital part of completing the renovation. We need both general and skilled laborers to help clean and paint, skilled plumbers, electricians, HVAC Technicians, Carpenters, Brick Masons, Tapers, etc. If you would like to bring a work crew or come individually, please call Leanna Perez at 718-453-3352 x115.

Want to work alongside us in every aspect of our daily outreach to children New York City? Our four-month internship program may be for you.
Every Christmas, Metro Ministries distributes stockings filled with goodies to thousands of boys and girls living in the inner-city. This program is only possible with the help of individuals and groups who work throughout the year creating those stockings. Volunteer now to become a part of this special Christmas outreach.
